Well, thanks to Cathy over at
Created For Inspiration I have changed my blog. My hope is that it will be more of a photo type blog and I will be able to share bigger pics..... Not that I am only going to post pics, just that I LOVE bigger pics on blogs! Anyhow, after editing the html (which, with her coaching, was not nearly as hard or scary as I had feared) I have a new look! I will miss the scrapbooky look of the others but it will be worth it for bigger pics.
I just tried posting larger pics and it isn't working. :o( I guess I'll have to see if she will coach me on that too *blush*
Anyhow, I have some GREAT pics of the kids and can't wait to share them...... Hopefully soon :o)
For bigger photos, I save them as a particular size - for instance 600 x 400 pixels and upload them that way to www.flickr.com. Then I choose the large version of my photo (which is 600 x 400) and copy and paste their code from flickr (where it says "To link to this photo on other websites you can either:") into the Edit HTML section on Blogger. Flickr does have monthly limits on their free account, but if you are saving your images as 600 x 400 px, it's unlikely you'll hit them.
ReplyDeleteBlogger does have a check box to specify that you'd like a larger size of the photo you are uploading, but I think that has a limit. That's just how I do it, I'm sure others do things differently.
Hope that helps.
Cathy
