I may regret this….

In the interest of following through on the promised pics from the last post I have decided to post pics, without messing with them at all.  No edit, copyright, nothing.  I will probably regret this but I am beginning to think that I will never blog again otherwise.  ;o) 

  Today’s installment is of our growing family. There are now a lot more of us than there used to be. 

About 5 weeks ago our doe “Willow”  kindled. She had 6 kits and they are absolutely adorable!  Here are a few pics of them taken a couple weeks ago.  I don’t have the newest pics on the comp yet.

The white one has been named “White Hero”. I am sure you will never be able to guess who named that one  ;o)   Lol

This one has been named “Rainbow”.  It is the only fully brown one of the litter so is easy to pick out to hold  ;o) 

  Then, the first week of April, “Violet” kindled and had 9 live kits.  This is her second litter but the first litter all died.  Being as “Violet” belongs to B, it has been of utmost excitement that that we only lost one this litter.  We had some excitement and it was a little scary the first few days but so far, so good  :o)  
  Here they are in their nesting box at 2-3 days old.

 

 

So there you have it….. our growing family.  They are so fun to photograph that you will probably being seeing more of them, that is if I can get past my perceived need to edit everything :oP

I am not sure that anyone still reads my poor neglected blog, but that's o.k., I am used to talking to myself  ;oD

  This is not a real blog post but an "I'm still alive and finally got my camera back out so *should* post again soon" post.  :o)  Oh, have I said that before?  Oops!  Well, um, I think I really mean it this time  ;oD

   There is so much news!  Our family is growing (pictures soon), I am now the mother of a 9 year old, I will soon have a 5 year old son, and much more.  I hope to get you all, or myself if no reads anymore, updated soon :o)  Pictures are being sorted as we speak!  A post without pics is boring after all!  Oh, I guess that means this is a boring post. Well, shucks, that is just the way it is going to have to be tonight. I am headed for bed!

Winter Wonderland

  Today we awoke to a world covered in glistening white. My kids were beyond thrilled!  Snow is such a rare thing for us that an inch seems like a lot. :o)   We got about 5 inches this morning!  It was lovely.  The biggest damper was that my camera battery was about dead :oP My spare bit the dust a few months ago and I have yet to replace it.  I did get these though.  :o)

 

I just LOVED the lighting and the fog in this area. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

 

  

And, of course, a few of the kids  :o)  Sadly, I went on my walk and used most of my battery up before they played.  I got a few good ones though, I was very disappointed that it died before I got a pic of my LM by himself.  :o(

J2 in his new Christmas hat from Aunt Courtney.  Please excuse the flying nun look, you just can’t teach fashion rules to a 16 month old! :o)  Thankfully for him, it does not hurt his cuteness in the least!
