My camera is back in my hands and, much to my joy, the flowers are still blooming! The lilacs are on their way out and every time I tried to capture them the wind would tickle them just enough to mess up my attempt to capture, however I was more successful with the apple tree. I do have to say though that, much as I love photography, a picture can not do justice to an apple blossom! Unless you can be carried away by the intoxicating fragrance you just can not fully appreciate an apple blossom. My parents’ tree is loaded and the fragrance is heavy in the air around the tree. Oh my, it is heavenly!
Here is a straight out of the camera shot:
And here is one I played with. I had a hard time getting what I wanted, and it still isn’t quite right, but I lost all my great textures when my hard drive crashed. I need to find some new ones……. So here is my played with picture:
I enjoyed my little photography outing but it was far too short…. My strength was, unfortunately, too limited for me to get as many pics as I wanted. Hopefully the weather, the flowers, and my health will cooperate again soon and I will get more. I have a few more from my last walk that I may post soon. I need to do more old pics too. We’ll see, I always have big plans but that doesn’t mean that many get carried through to completion. :oP

Lovely, Beci!
ReplyDeleteOH! I love it. I was hoping that my camera would come in time for me to capture the apple blossoms on my tree but alas it did not. It's my turn to live vicariously through you.
ReplyDeleteI really like your edit--the color and texture give it such a nice vintage feel. Makes me think of childhood :o). Glad your camera is safely back in your hands!
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job...it looks beautiful!
